First of all, set limits on how much you can comfortably lose.
Then, leave your ATM and debit cards at home,
DO NOT chase you losses.
Now, you are ready to play.
Play at machines or tables where you have a chance of winning some sizeable profits.
Only play for short periods of time. The casino has the long term advantage, YOU CAN WIN in the short run.
And finally, once you get ahead, cash out, and leave.
That's the only way to come out a consistant winner.
I should know, I've done it for a living.

Keep away from the slots they are programmed to pay out only 20% of whats put in
If playing black jack, play on a table that has a high minimum bet, that way u make sure all the other players know what they are doing (usually) but learn the rules before u sit down.
Always hit anything lower than a 17 if the dealer is showing a 7 or higher, stand on anyting above a 12 if the dealer is showing 6 or less.
If playing roulette, find a green looking dealer who seems to be section spinning, play the section but dont put your bet down til she has spun the ball
Seriously, I was a croupier for years including in vegas, I usually win when I go only cos i understand the odds and skills involved. Its not something ur gonna learn overnight and instince does play a part.
Play $100 bucks for fun then walk away.

The number one secret of winning at a casino - don't play!
How do you get rich winning at a casino - write a book about the secrets at winning at a casino.
There is no system or secret at winning at a casino, if there were, there wouldn't be any casinos (casino games start off with a house edge that makes them money).

There are no secrets to winning. The casino has an edge on EVERY game that they offer. That's how they pay their bills and that's how they can afford that real expensive chandelier or chandeliers, and everything else.
However, if you treat gambling as entertainment, and can only gamble what you can afford to lose, the best chances to win are at Blackjack and Craps. Slots have the worst chances of winning. Read books on both of these games, but don't expect to win, just have fun. good luck.

Save your money. Gambling is a tax on people who are bad at math. Your best chance as far as sustainability goes are in blackjack and craps (against the roller). If you are talking about Vegas save your slot money for the slots downtown. They usually pay better than ones on the strip. Also don't play at the airport, give me $20 and I'll kick you in the stomach, but don't play at the airport.
Don't think you can get all cute and count cards in 2 or 1 deck blackjack either. The payouts are rules are screwy. Why do you think casinos are so big. Everyone loses money.

I agree with most of the answers, DON'T PLAY! If you do, play a game that pits you against other players, ie. poker.
But the flip side of that is that you need to learn the game inside and out in order to be any kind of consistant winner. If you don't know poker, you would be better off playing slots cuz the experienced poker players will absolutly steal your money quick!

if you are new chanses is 60% you will win because thats there way and strategy to lure new players but after that you will be loss no mater how hard you play. they control all of it... the tip is if gamble half of your money for 1st to 20th plays if you won... go out in the casino and enjoy the money you won.. only play one type of game, don't play slot machine its very difficult in winning there... the difficult part in gambling is self control....
casino is the place where you want to spend your money for nothing i rather advice you not to go there but since you want some tip i give you some but just don't be addicted to it it will destroy your life and your family....

take machines that are near to the cashiers and by the exits. they're rigged so they pay slightly more.. people who are ready to leave get lured into the casino due the winning sounds of these machines.
