You could be hyperglycemic. This may be good for playing football; but is awful for rest time that helps the body rejuvenate itself. A simple blood test will answer the question. There may be a call for a slight diet change and possible medication.

Be sure you're getting enough water. Many doctors these days recommend drinking one ounce of water for every two pounds of weight. So if you're 200 pounds, you need 100 ounces of water daily. Make sure you're getting 8.5-9 hours of sleep every night, at least five nights a week. Cut back on caffeine, one soda/coffee a day, or less if you can manage. (Caffeine does bad things to your body anyway.) Don't strain your eyes with computer screens all the time. If you need glasses, get them and wear them. If you haven't had your eyes checked in the past 2 years, get them checked. Pay attention to your surroundings. Can you hear the fluorescent lighting? Bad lighting on your textbooks? Lousy posture in a badly-designed chair? Does the quiet of classrooms set you on edge? Things like that can give people a headache.

And see your doctor. Headaches can be a sign of something that needs to be treated properly. They can be signs of severe problems, but about 99% of the time, it's a sign of allergies, asthma, simple infection requiring antibiotics, pulled muscles, stress, and probably a hundred other little things. All of that can produce headaches, and painkillers aren't going to do squat, but treating the underlying cause will fix it. And, it could be migraines. They can be funny headaches at times. But, you need a doctor to look at you, and see what's going on.

If it only happens when ur sitting it could be some sort of neurological problem, which is aggravated by sitting.
However any headache that is persistent or doenst go away after 48 hours should always be investigated. You need an MRI to check it out specially as its affecting ur quality of life

You have a pinched nerve..or you are putting pressure on the femural artery in the leg.. causing a circulation problem hence the head aches.. it's more likely in you buttocks region.. It will pass, but sitting for long periods of time just worsens the problem. Do more walking and stretching.

Get checked for Cluster headaches. Especially if they are waking you up at night and pain pills aren't working.

It could be nerve damage, or perhaps pinched or pressured nerves. You may want to see a neurologist, or a pain specialist.
