Powerade is full of sugar so you might as well drink the coke. I would recommend that you keep with the water, make sure you drink it ice cold that makes a lot a difference. The water also makes a big difference with dieting as well, your body doesn't feel deprived of the water so it will release all the water it's retaining. I am not sure if you have tried it or not but Diet Dr. Pepper is awesome and tastes just like the real deal.

Good luck with your healthier lifestyle!!

I think you misunderstood of how to loose weight.
Drinking much water is good, but not other such as soda, or other sweet drinks. It also enough to get about 2-3 litres a day. More than that is too much.
In the morning drink about 1 about litre (doesn't have to do it in one time, but make sure your body get a replacement after 6-8 hours not having any incoming liquid from outside during sleep).
The rest have to be as regularly as possible. for example drink a glass of water every 1 - 2 hours
Too much having Soda drinks will ruin your kidney.
change your drink with tape water, or if possible hexagonal water (or ionized water)
but if you still like bottle or can drinks, then the powerade is good for you, because it is isotonic waters, and so are other isotonic drinks.
have a healthy life.
good luck

anything seems better than soda. Water is a little tough on the tummy so don't be thinking "how can I be vomiting when all I've done is drink water." Too much water in one sitting can also make you feel bloated, although it does help with weight loss. I think you have the right idea for now. FYI fruit juices are only good if their fresh squeezed and keep in mind that even they have a lot of sugar.

Drinking more water will help you lose the water weight that you have built up in your body. Once your body sees that you are consuming more and more water your body will release the water supply that is built up in your body. Soda causes your body to get bloated trapping water in. Powerade and drinks like this will not help you lose any weight. they are just as bad a sodas if you drink them when you dont need them. Like after working out. It took me a long time to get used to only drinking water but it really helps out. You will also feel more energized too.

the best thing to do,if you dont like water is drink cyrstal light thats what i drink cause i hate water also.be very very careful of the water that you do drink.Belive it or not I was a nurse for a while and the reason you have thrown up after drinking water is because your body is telling you that it is getting water logged and that means you could be killing yourself.to much water can hurt you so drink cyrstal light 1 or 2 times a day that is plenty ok.

even if u want to substitute, make a substitute with water - add lemon juice and sweetner for a refreshing fresh lime, add soda to make it a fresh lime soda. add grated ginger and honey to make it like an ale. no matter what u do, u can't replace water with anything, it does make one pukey if too much is had at one time, so go slow, keep a bottle of water with you at all times and just keep sipping. In India we dont have a culture of soft drinks or sweet drinks with meals or as a break, they are consumed mainly on occasion or when eating out, Indians by and large drink a LOT of water and though we are not a thin race we dont have obesity as a problem.

If ur serious about losing the weight.....no cokes, not even diet. Or 1 a week.
no sweets, breads, eat beans, and high fiber. Small portions. And carry some veggies, mini carrots, celery...to munch on during the day, while out.
lots of excersise...get a video to work to. Make it fun. Anyway...good luck !
Oh, drink water and power drinks. But water only cleans out your system or
makes u bloated. It doesn't make u lose weight.

you don't have to drink 8 glasses of water a day, but all that pop is bad for you. you could switch to diet for now until you can give it up completely. Try drinking decaf tea or coffee because it is also good for you. also, juices are a delicious option, and surely you can find one you like. not sure about the powerade, I'd be weary of it for your purposes.
