119 punds and 20 % body fat doesn't mean that you feel good about yourself or your body image. You have a fitness counselor, is he/she working on something with you? With that said, I think we all can learn from our obese peers and realize that fitness is going to be key in our lifelong battle against overendulging. It also shows that all of these studies ignore our mental health and how we are seeing ourselves---fat, fit, or skinny.

Why would you feel guilty seeing an overweight person..You didn't help them put the girth on their body's. Some of them, should feel guilty when they see you..because they know they're over-eating and not doing anything about it.
Now, I can see you feeling sorry for an overweight person, but you cannot change the fact that they are fat..that's something they would have to do on their own. You should feel good that a lot of overweight people can look at you and say "man, I wish I could be that size"

you don't feel guilty about the overweight person. you feel guilty because you are prejudice about fat people and you know you shouldn't be prejudice and you can't help the way you feel. If you express how you feel directly to an overweight person then that is wrong. Its ok that you feel that way, we all have some prejudice in us, it's when you express and hurt the other person.

why do you feel guilty? you may feel sorry for them. Do you understand why they are fat? Many depressed people turn to food or people use it like a drug, they become obsessed with it. Plus our culture is very lazy these days. you don't have to feel guilty for them though, you did nothing to contribute to their state.

I see it as a genuine and good emotion coming from you in being concerned as to your fellow mans or woman's welfare and well being.
Your feeling of guilt is an expression of your real concern for them, and it is something you should be proud of and feel good about.
The feeling of guilt is also an emotion you have in being embarrassed for them and your disgust in how they could possibly allow themselves to get in that condition. It is perfectly normal and OK for you to feel that way. You are being honest in your feelings and emotions.
Perhaps them seeing you and how good you look may give them motivation to improve their appearance.
The goodness inside of you shines like a beacon to others and when you see the overweight or FAT ones, a smile from you may be the source of motivation for them to care enough about themselves to take action for improvement and to look as good as you do.
I can sense the goodness in your heart over the Internet and it leaves me with a peaceful, easy feeling in knowing that someone like you exists so whatever you do, be good to yourself as you deserve it.

Probably due to the ignorance you have about how genetic, environmental, and social factors are causing alot of today's weight problems. Not everyone who is overweight is to blame for their condition.
