One of the reasons Paganism appeals to me so much is that it never, ever claims to be 'right' or the 'only way'
Organized religion however, I don't know. It does seem like a competition sometimes on which one can be best or most liked. Don't many religions get money from their followers? Maybe it has something to do with that. Or maybe leaders of different sects preach so much, so hard, that they truely believe they hold some magical key to the 'right way'

Religion is an opinion about God and the relationship of man with Him/Her and it is human nature to assert that one's opinion is the right opinion and others opinion is wrong . God alone knows the right answer though people may say that they know the right answer.
