Since I was called a moron a few questions back when I responded that Hitler was into the occult, I thought I'd pose the question here.
Was Hitler into the occult? Was he Catholic?
What have you heard about his religious views?
If you do a google search and type in Hitler and occult you get over 600,000 sites. Hmm, does that make me a moron?

yes he called you a moron because you pointed out he was inaccurate. You are historically correct and he is wrong. Apparently he has done no research at all and used perverted logic to convert peoples actions who may or may not be or have been Christan's into act on behalf of Christianity.

He isn't just down the shallow end of the intellect pool his end is cemented over

I did not think that Adolphs involvement with the occult was not a known FACT. He worshipped many occult beliefs and even made his first priority to get his hands on 'the spear' as soon as he felt he had the power to do it.
He was not aware, although, that these powers do have a limited life span and like many before him, tried to 'ride the wave' too long and got crushed.
He was sooooo devoted to the occult that it was the cause of his downfall.
I would like to add, that contrary to what you may have read so far, Hitler was not a moron. He was much closer to Genius than moron. There is a fine line between Genius and insanity and Adolph use to dance all over that line.
Don't get me wrong, he was a dispicable human being that committed some of the worst atrocities in all of history. BUT, he did bring many things to Germany, like the infrastructure, that few other 'leaders' have been able to accomplish.
BEFORE I GET HATE MAIL-- He is/was SCUM and deserves to roast in hell for eternity.
Shine on.

You are not a moron. My parents were raised during World War 2 in Germany. And they were Arian. They talked about mystical things often (being phychic, their grandmother's having "powers") and I always thought it was odd, since I was under the impression that Arians were Protestant. They have both past away some time ago now, and since then I have seen a documentary called "The Occult History of the Third Reich ". It explained my parents beliefs. Here is a description of the documentary:

The rampant murderousness of the Nazi Third Reich is still widely gossiped about today, but what is less well-known is the supernatural compulsion, the unheard-of Occult practices, and widespread superstition that superseded the Nazi Machine. In the early 20th Century, a young Adolf Hitler was just one of many German-speaking people attracted by the new Germanic psychic network, a system that combined Spiritualism, esoteric cosmologies, and a widespread belief in National Socialism, with Pyramid Power, Black Magic, and Geomancy, and which tampered with cutting-edge doctrines of genetic science. In the hands of the Nazis, the result was a new ideology that saw the extermination of the Jewish Regime as the key to Human Destiny.

The Nazi Code, rife with arcane rituals & unintelligible emblems, appropriated the sacred swastika for the Nazi ideal , formerly a symbol of cosmic harmony and earth-power. By the time of the Third Reich, Hitler and the Nazis had evolved an entirely new faith, complete with holy book, venerated trophies and top bananas in the form of Himmler's SS. It was a religion based on obedience, power, and the cult of the leader, with Hitler himself seen as the "Grand Imperial Warlock".

This power-packed and disturbing series reveals the secret history of Adolf Hitler and his involvement with Tarots. Hitler read the writings of Jorg Lanz who published Ostara and advocated a crackpot system of theozoology. In addition, Hitler was also influenced by the Englishman who praised Germanic culture Houston Stewart Chamberlain and the composer Richard Wagner. Fritzi Siegwein, the Nazi philosopher, made popular the notorious "Protocols of the Elders of Zion" which influenced Hitler's rabid antisemitism. The DVD shows the destruction wrought by the Third Reich, eugenics in everyday use, and naked youths being shoveled into furnaces at the death camps.

Don't know what Hitlers original religion was. But he sure got into the ARYAN SUPREMACY jig.
Yes according to the tales the regime he led was trying to get hold of all the Occult items it could find . Especially the ARK of the
covenant. to try and use it as the supreme weapon as the Jews did.

Hitler's religious beliefs
Main article: Adolf Hitler's religious beliefs
Adolf Hitler was brought up in his family's religion by his Roman Catholic parents, but as a school boy the began to reject the Church and Catholicism. After he had left home, he never attended Mass or received the Sacraments.

In later life, Hitler's religious beliefs present a discrepant picture: In public statements, he frequently spoke positively about the Christian heritage of German culture and belief in Christ. Hitler’s private statements, reported by his intimates, are more mixed, showing Hitler as a religious but also anti-Christian man. However, in contrast to other Nazi leaders, Hitler did not adhere to esoteric ideas, occultism, or neo-paganism, and possibly even ridiculed such beliefs in private, but rather advocated a "Positive Christianity", a belief system purged form what he objected to in traditional Christianity, and reinvented Jesus as a fighter against the Jews.

Hitler believed in a social darwinist struggle for survival between the different races, among which the "Aryan race" was supposed to be the torchbearers of civilization and the Jews as enemies of all civilisation. Whether his anti-semitism was influenced by older Christian ideas remains disputed. Hitler also strongly believe that "Providence" was guiding him in this fight.

Among Christian denominations Hitler favoured Protestantism, which was more open to such reinterpretations, but at the same time imitated some elements of Catholic church organization, liturgy and phraseology in his poltics.

In addition to this info, Hitler was once advised and guided (secretly) by the Roman Catholic Church in Germany's political affairs which included the gassing of 6 million Jews. Unfortunately, Hitler also executed Catholics, Protestants and others later on.

Hitler was insane, he was a moron, a very devious moron.
and he is almost defiantly burning in Hell like he should be. (but shouldn't we all, lol.)
God has the right to call us morons if he likes. He's God for crying out loud, but i don't think he did.
People love to pull psychos like Hitler out of the bag to condemn us Christians, but that's baloney.
We shouldn't judge a whole by one freak who had no right to call himself a christian.
Just as I don't consider every Muslim to be a terrorist, nor do i consider every homosexual to be a rapist just because you get raped by men in prison.
Hitler was obsessed with occult items, many of them Christian or semi-christian relics.
