I think that the church is bad. The grandfather of the church used to be a lawyer before he was disbarred. He made a lot of money suing people. He and his family, harrass and degrade people hoping that someone will strike them so they can sue. They proclaim that they are happy that soilders are blown up by IEDs, that praise should be given to those who kill gays, and protest loudly at funerals when families are mourning their loved ones. How is it that the laws that are supposed to protect us from this sort of thing are the same laws that enable these horrible people to continue what they are doing. They are angry about people not recognizing them as a church, or listening to what they have to say...but they are allowed to scream obsinites to small children, and degrade those who come to close to them. How are they allowed to continue with this nonsense?

I think they are a horrible group that totally twists the word of the Bible to fit what they want and they do horrible things as a result of what they believe. They are a disgrace to all Baptists, all Christians and most importantly they are a disgrace to God. In regards to the comments of god(the answers user, who should change his name), they do not at all represent the teachings of Christianity.

However, even though what they do is horrible, they have the right to freedom of speech, which allows them to say these things. If we stop speech just because its not popular then we might as well stop all speech because it might offend someone. Everyone has the right to free speech, even this "church."

It's called Christianity. They are simply the logical conclusion of what is being preached in churches today. The only difference is that they are more blunt about their message of evil and hate. Christians are obsessed with homosexuality...there is simply no denying it.

And what I want to know:

Is where was all the disgust when this bastard was protesting gay people's funerals 10 years ago? Where was the disgust when he was protesting Mathew Shepard's funeral?

My personal belief is that they should be classified as a cult.

If the riders other than the Patriot Guard had ridden in and stomped the adults at the first funeral they disrupted, we wouldn't be having this exchange about them.

There seems to be a bad spirit about them. They certainly do not bear the fruit of the Spirit. Especially not the Holy Spirit. And they bring disgrace to the name of Christ.

These people are horrible.

I'm pretty sure someone is trying to pass some kind of law to ban them from those soldiers funerals...I forget what it was that I heard though.
