i know what you mean. i've been struggling with things lately as well and i havent been exactly happy. however, do what makes YOU happy. talk to someone, MAKE new friends, and try to enjoy things you once did. If that doesnt work, something that always works for me is cuddling up with a gallon of my favorite ice cream and watch an inspirational/funny movie. :] maybe even try to talk more often to some people and invite them over. whenever i'm not feeling well, i try to forget all the bad thigns that happened and move onto the good things in life. i hope everything works out alright. life is too short. live it to the fullest.

First of all you need to love yourself. Ask your parents, if they can
spend time with you one day out of a week. If they say they are too busy, then let them know how you feel. They just might fit you in to their schedule. Ask a cousin around your age to go out with
you. Even if it is just to the mall or go to the movie theater. Smile
more, you just might get a smile thrown back at you. Think positive. I don't know how old you are, but if your in school, look
around you see someone sitting alone and what the heck ask if you can join him or her. Spark up a conversation, whom knows
you just might find a friend, it's worth a try.

Ok, first say to yourself that every minute that u don't have depression and you are OK. then see a doctor he maybe give u some pills but remember that it is only u that can control ureself so try to concentrate. Another way is that try to find the reason that makes you depressed, work out the worst that can be happened to you and see if that is really horrible or not.

Hi Sky. It may help to find a 'cause' bigger than yourself. Find some issue, some need that you can help others with. Maybe volunteer at your local hospital, or find a charity that needs volunteers (every charity does). Call your local Red Cross, United Way, Salvation Army, etc and ask if you can help.

By helping others in need, you will find a process that also helps you. It is a 'win-win' process.

Best wishes and good luck.

Do you know if anything recent has caused this dip in your mood? Talk to your parents. Sit them down if necessary. Depression is serious. You should probably talk to your doctor about antidepressants.

Other than that, know that you aren't alone. Many people, myself included, are clinically depressed. When I get really down, if none of my friends are available to talk to, I go into a chat room and talk. It keeps my mind off of it for at least a while.

you mean depression - it comes from a more deeper reason than that of not having friends or not able to talk to your parents.

one good sign is that at least you acknowleged you are depressed. you have to work by yourself to be able to get out of it. keep yourself busy & do the things you enjoy most to keep your mind free from worries and the evil from within. I suggest you do volunteer work either in your local church, children's hospital or even homes for the aged. You will be surprised to realize that there are more people who are in worst situation than yours but do not feel depressed at all. Sometimes, its just looking on the bright side of life that makes the difference.

You need to talk to someone. Parents may be busy, but believe me unless they are real creeps - they care about you and what you feel. Ask yourself if you are depressed about life in general and feel hopeless - or - is it situational depression like over a certain thing that happened like a boyfriend breaking up with you.

Ponder it, think on what started it, when it started, and then share with your parents. Tell them you need them and i would bet they will be there for you.

Also, you can go to the family doctor and tell him/her what is going on. The main thing is to share it with someone - don't go it alone! good luck

you need to get to the issues that are causing you to look to other people to validate you. Learn to validate yourself and love who you are. You are worth the time. Give yourself what no one else seems to be giving you. Take care of you..it's not selfish! Talk to yourself differently. Start a workout routine...it really helped me deal with it and pull out of it. It takes disipline and a fight from within...screaming there's a better way and I'm going to find it. Your a lot stronger than you think! Your not a victim!

That is not Depperssion what that is -is that you may just feel that you are being ignored by your Parents due to of how busy that they may be or seem.
What you can do is talk to them about how you feel and see if they can set some time aside to spend with you so that you and they can do things with you and if they do that more and more over time you may not feel so ignored and instead you will feel love'd.

you should find someone to go out with have fun and not think of sad thinks or just ignore but in order to do this you should first talk to a doctor to see what level of deppresion you have. they can prescribe you prozac or different medications to help your inner self. Yoga is also a great way to forget about depression. Also try going to the website:
