I`m a woman and I DO NOT think it`s ok to cheat!!! I hate all cheaters! Male and female. If you cheat on someone, you`re a jerk! I have NEVER cheated on anyone and never will! If you can think about being with another person while you`re with someone, you obviously don`t really care too much about that person and should just break up with them, then go for who you want. Regardless of your sex, it is HORRIBLE to cheat!

They do it for love. They do it for sex. They do it to feel beautiful and boost their self-esteem. No, we're not talking about why women get married, but why women cheat on the men they have married.
Female infidelity is not a new phenomenon, but it is a fact of life that many people, including women, don't want to acknowledge. While the cheating man has long been the subject of boasts, jokes, novels and movies, the unfaithful woman is now getting more attention and scrutiny. And justifiably so. Whereas decades ago, the unfaithful wife was a rarity, an abnormality, today's missus is more likely to cheat than her predecessors.
The first reliable estimate concerning infidelity was made in 1953 by renowned sex researcher Alfred Kinsey, who in his landmark study found that 50 percent of husbands and 26 percent of wives surveyed had cheated by age 40. However, in recent years, women have been catching up to men. A 1997 Ball State University study suggests that young women, those under age 40, are just as likely to commit adultery as men their age. Among older couples, the stereotype of men being more likely to stray holds true.
Sex researchers agree that today more women are committing adultery. At the same time, more and more women are working outside the home alongside men, oftentimes in office environments that are charged with sexual electricity. In addition, some studies show that the more sexual partners a person has before marriage, the more likely she or he is to cheat on a spouse.

I don't think women feel it's ok for them to cheat and not the guy. But I do think women and men cheat for different reasons.

Well if a woman ever cheats on a man, it's because he doesn't treat her the way she should be treated or she feels lonely in the relationship. But when men cheat it's because they think some other woman is just as fine as their girlfriend, so they figure I'll go with them both. Woman barely cheat on men, so that's probably why they don't consider it so bad.

To be totally honest women don't think it's Okay they just like to make men think it's okay for some women to cheat. (It's a psychological thing)

well hon, I'm a woman and i don't think it is right to cheat. both sexes do stupid things and those thing should never be condoned by anyone, and if someone tells you differently then they are stupid too. with the onset of so many diseases it is literal suicide and emotional as well for you or your partner to be fooling around with someone else. if you've fallen out of love or you have feelings for someone else, speak up, i bet that your partner would appreciate that than to be told by their doctor that the cold they thought they had is AIDS. think about it men and women life is to precious to waste, take your time in selecting that special someone, and when you think you've met them, still take your time, anyhow all the best.

I think it's the opposite of that!
As women, we look past cheating, thinking that maybe it's our faults that our men cheat!

your making a lot of generalizations and stereotypes. It's not OK for anyone to cheat because it's very hurtful and immoral. Guess anybody can justify depending on what side of the fence you are on

You bring up a good point my friend.. I don't have a clue. But.. maybe because when guys cheat its mainly "More" than dating. Rather when Girls cheat is Dating rather than doing "more"
