Jason is the next "Great White Hype" not "Hope" I like Jason, he fights well and has decent punching power, winning most of his fights by knockout. Every Litzau fight that I have been given the opportunity to watch has always been action packed, he's surley a crowd pleaser.
Jason was even employed by the Gatti camp to help Arturo get ready for his fight against Floyd "Pretty Boy" Mayweather. It has been said that Gatti refers to him as "The Black fighter stuck in a white mans body"
Jason looks as good as he does because of his quality of opposition, look at the names of the guys that he destroyed Miguel Muhguia, Carlos Contreas, Debind Thapa and Nicky Bentz hardly household names. When Jason fought John Nolaso ( I never heard of him either) he was hurt several times during the fight and didn't look all that great and was given a gift Split - Decision. His oppnents are hand picked to build his record tomake people ask the question "Who is this kid?"
Could you imagine Jason in there with the likes of Tapia, Barrera, Morales and Pacquiao he would be eaten alive. In my opinion Jason gets destroyed by any one in the Top Ten WBC, WBA, IBF. Like I said I like watching Jason fight, he's exciting but he's deffintely got a long way to go and once he gets up there with the big boys he wont be able to hide his suspect chin.

I really do wonder why it's so very important to have a "great white hope!" I prefer to see just a great boxer! Jason has better-than-average skills and does bring power to the ring. However, he's still in the record-padding stage of his career and I'll reserve judgement until he is finally up against a worthy opponent. He is one of the nicest kids I've known, he and his brother Allen. I wish him the best and hope he does well. There's definitely enough belts available he should be able to get at least one. 8-)

no he is not there is no white hope in boxing and im white i fought in the 70s i was 60and2 i fought light heavy weight
