I like to buy a BMA 7 ser. and would like to know if Ford Motor car compnay owns BMW.

No... BMW (Beverian Motor Ways) still a stand-alone company which is really remarkable.. Only a few stand-alone companies can survive dese days... Toyota, Honda and Porsche are others... Ford owns a bunch of europian manuacturers.. They actually own Aston Martin, Land-Rover, Mercury, Volvo, Mazda, Jaguar nut NOT BMW...BMW is doing really well at the moment and no signs of forming even an alliance with another manufacturer....

Bavarian Motor Works will likely never be owned by an American company, but they certainly make a great automobile! I am in an older Jaguar which is a treat also, and it is OK with me that Ford owns it though it still makes a great auto. You will have a fine car if you get a BMW.

No. The BMW Group now own the Mini name and have a controlling interest in Rolls Royce.
Maybe in your area the Ford dealership also sells BMWs but they are not officially connected in any way as far as I can work out.

Not Yet , But they Own Austin Martin, Range Rover, 41% of Mazda, Jag , Daimler Division of Volvo, and of course Lincoln & Mercery & Ford is still trying to buy Ferarrie, ,BMW Stands For Bavirain Motor Works
