I would say that there are a few people who would not love it. However, most people don't stick with a casual hobby or an exercise program that they are just ok with for 9 years.

Most people that practice martial arts for 6 or more years love it and are passionate about it. It becomes part of who they are.

I hope it doesn't replace God though. He is the only one that we are to love with all our heart, soul, and mind.

Usually. While some people manage to practice for nine years wihtout getting really invovled, it rarely happens. My style, Goju-ryu, actually teaches you how to focus your heart, soul and mind into your karate.

not necessarily.. they might just do it as a casual hobby.. time is not always proportional to skill level..
