Decorate with sparkling snowflakes (several different sizes) suspended fron the ceiling on fishing line at a variety of heights so it looks like a snow storm.... You can paint some of the ornaments crystal blue and spray with glitter...
Check the dollar store around christmas they usually have alot of snowflake ornaments that would work beautifully

Use white luminaries with blue bulbs for additional decoration.. You can buy the bags and use a few strings of christmas lights all blue and sand (place in ziploc bag instide luminary to avoid mess... to create a beautiful decoration along a walk way or the edge of a serving table.....

Poke light up through bottom of bag and place ziploc of sand in bag to weigh it down ... repeat ..Use mini lights to avoid fire hazard ... Often relatives will gladly allow you to use a string or two for the day of the wedding ...

That's a fantastic theme. I like it a lot. I always liked blue with silver. I prefer dark blue like the night sky but lighter blues could resemble snow at night too.

Have a magical night!

Different shades of blue would be beauitful with that theme. I do all my Christmas decorations in blue and silver and it's awesome. You should be able to find lots of stuff on clearance after Christmas. You could even do an "I love you SNOW much theme" or "SNOW in Love". I even have blue twinkle lights. Very cute idea and fun!

That sounds beautiful! Have you seen ''Madea's Family Reunion'' ? At the end of the movie, a wedding was held and it's theme was ''fairy tale'' I think, but the colors were simliar to yours and I think you could get some great ideas from it (if you havent seen the movie) they had actual people dressed as angels playing harps, (hanging from the ceiling, sounds weird but it was beautiful).....I suggest you have lots of white candles and clear crystals...under them and keep the colors soft....I think a winter theme is beautiful but you should interwine that with the ''Fairy Tale'' and ''Heaven'' theme also to get the best ideas of all themes....Well I hope it goes great, check out that movie!
CONGRATS!!!!!!! :)

I love the idea of a jewel tone like sapphire or amethyst with silver, especially since you mentioned stars.

For something a bit different, go for sage green. It has a very cool feeling and would be almost retro. Also would look great with evergreens.

Love the theme! I would definitely go with whites and blues. I always liked them with silver. I'm sure whatever you decide will be beautiful! Congrats!

Maroon would look really nice during that time of year. It isn't as bright as red or pink. A nice blue---not dark blue---would compliment the snowflakes and glitter as well.

Good luck and congrats!

I am getting married in March- My colors will be cranberry and cream. I think the richer- deep colors are better for winter weddings. Reds, purples, things like that.

Congratulations!

Winter blue!

Blue goes well with winter deco. I would suggest doing plenty of image searching to get the best ideas of blue mix.
