Try to go to sleep earlier. Take a few deep breaths, strech, read a book at a set time every night just before you plan to sleep. Having you things ready before helps. Showering is good. Start off with hot water and gradually decrease the heat until it is as cold as you can stand.

Getting to bed at a reasonable time is obvious. I try no caffeine beyond 3pm the night before, EXERCISE, and warm baths for those really hard nights. I used to watch TV thinking that was a good thing to lull me to sleep----BIG MISTAKE!!! Turn the tube off, try some chamomile tea, deep breath a few times, and think of the lovely dreams you are about to have. The better sleep you have, the easier it is to wake up! When you get up in the morning try some nice music--not the stuff that will scare you out of bed, and have everything ready for your day (coffee, clothes, breakfast). Good luck to you!

Going to bed earlier helps immensely! Have your clothes picked out and make your lunch the night before. It gives you a few more minutes of snooze time in the morning!

Set your clothes out the night before and program your coffee maker. Also, hop in the shower right when you get out of bed. I set my clock radio alarm to classical- it is less tempting to turn off than obnoxious beeping.

I agree, its a lot simpler on a summer time's day whilst the solar is shining. generally the birds are having a noisy tweet to boot. yet someway you awaken with a lot extra optimism on a sunny, heat day, even a artwork day.

well if you have to get up at six to go to work. find a different job, or if you have to get up for school, then maybe you should ask your parents to home school you, so you can sleep in.
