I have three dogs and a cat.. My husband hates cats and I told him that was tough luck I found this cat in the snow and had him way before I had my husband. I also have a three year old little girl who calls the animals her brothers and sisters. SO I guess I have five kids. I actually take better care of my animals and my daughter than my husband . I would never give up my pets for a man. There are other men out there. I mean would she let go of her kids if the guy asks her to because to me my animals are the same as my child and I wouldn't give her up or my animals

When she started the relationship was she aware of his disdain for animals? How long as she had the animals?

How long she's owned the animals plays a part in determining how likely someone is to find new homes for them. It also has to do with if they believe the relationship (with the boyfriend) will be long-lasting---she may be intending to marry the guy.

Personally, I couldn't imagine having a relationship with someone who doesn't share that VERY IMPORTANT part of my life. As an animal lover---that's a huge part of my personality/hobbies/ect. If someone I was with hated animals...we'd have VERY little in common and as such the relationship would be very unstable and I'd seek out a companion who shared the same interests as me (ie: an animal lover).

In my opinion, the only reason for rehoming a pet is severe allergies, the owners' death or the inability to properly care for an animal (unable to provide food/shelter/ect.). Moving, having a baby, not enough room, no yard (which is COMPLETE BS---you don't need a yard to have a dog, you just need to provide excercise) are just EXCUSES and show how irresponsible someone is when they give up a pet for those reasons.

Getting a pet is a responsibility that should not be taken lightly. You don't just throw them away when the mood moves you. They have given love and been there when a shoulder was needed. This guy either feels she gives too much affection towards the dogs/cats and wants it all for himself or this is a test of submission. Not to mention he shows up when she gets a house. Hummm! something not adding up here. We used to call a person like that a "gold bricker".
Ditch the guy before he starts really ordering her around.

Personally, I would NEVER date a guy that didn't love animals the way I do. That's part of who I am and how I feel about the world in general and I couldn't spend my life (or waste my time) on someone who can't appreciate that. If she really love animals that much, she'd tell the guy to take a hike and find a man that loves what she loves and will make her happy.

I could never get rid of my Dog & 2 Cats they are like my children. I can' t believe someone would even think of giving them up for a man.

Doesn't sound like he cares about her very much if she is the one giving up everything.

Good Luck! Hope the animals don't suffer.

OMG, your daughter must really love this "guy" to be totally blind to the fact that it seems to me he's only after her now because she bought a house. I would say forget it if I were her, I've already told my partner that if the dogs go I'm going with them.......hehehe I would never leave my dogs for anyone, I can't have kids so they are like children to me and are a big part of my family.

NEVER!! I'm an animal lover. First of all...it's always a huge turn off if I meet anyone who doesn't like animals, much less date someone. Sounds like your daughter is willing to give up anything to have a man.

I have a house full of dogs..... (Great Danes and Newfoundlands) of which hubby never ever had an issue but he is allergic to cats. I did verify this with his doctor. Hubby no longer has allergies to my cats because doctor said he built up an immunity to whatever caused the allergy.

No one would come between my crew and I.... NEVER. Wouldn't happen...

Does she have a self esteem issue or maybe on drugs? Nor judging, just concerned.

PRINT OUT THE ANSWERS TO YOUR Q AND SHOW IT TO HER. PERHAPS SHE WILL SEE HOW THIS (I will not use the term man) FOOL IS PLAYING HER AND ONLY AFTER HER ASSETS AND NOT HER AS A PERSON!

Our church is so small we are assembly in our domicile right this moment, and that i visit't positioned the whole settee interior the bathing device ... LOL also - wash the canines bedding many times. upload Febreeze for laundry (I ignore precisely what that's stated as) in case you opt to. Vacuum many times, making use of a powder puppy deodorizer first. Arm & Hammer makes one it really is quite strong. you splatter it into the carpet, enable it sit down for 15 - 20 minutes, then vacuum up. bathe the canines each and every 2 - 3 weeks, if plausible. you would no longer get rid of each and every of the smell, yet all of this mixed can help lots.

I would never get rid of my pets for that reason. The only way I woulg get rid of my pets is if I found out I was dying and had to get them new homes. My boyfriend has a cat that I am totally allergic to, but I would never ask him to get rid of it for me. I would find a way to live with it if we moved in together. Your daughter's boyfriend is horrendous. I guess your daughter is going to do what she's going to do, but please step in and make sure her pets find good homes. Are you considering taking them in until she comes to her senses? That would be a very kind thing if you did-not for your daughter's sake, but for the sake of her innocent animals. You could be saving them from being put to sleep if no one adopts them from a shelter.
