Those little bugs that show up in boxes of macaroni and the like... is it dangerous to eat them? Are they hazardous to your health in any way?

buddha, why the attitude? Did I say I want to eat them? Did I even SUGGEST as much? I'm just wondering if they're "bad" or "benign". I'm curious. That's it. Put away the sneer and save it for somebody else.

you can eat them . they are not harmful, they won't bit you , they won't create a widespread infestation.They just want some macaroni is all:) If you throw out the box and clean up the area they will be gone.

Those weevil bugs show up from time to time in flour and macaroni and the like. If you see them toss the food, if you don't and wind up eating them it won't hurt you unless you make yourself sick by grossing out just over the thought.You have probably eaten much worse without knowing in your life, believe me!

weevils eat food and plantstuff, and then I suppose they would leave tiny little poops around too. Either way, I put them outside or kill them when I see them in my house. I am sure if you ate them it would just be some extra protein, good for you even. They aren't poisonous.

Nah. You never hear of anyone getting sick from eating weevils or any other bug.

I think they are high in protein - I know in prison camps in WWII doctors recommended to eat them - the nutrition can keep you alive when nothing else is.

Why would you want to eat a bug? I guess, since common sense alludes you, I would have to say that YES I do think it would be bad to eat them...............
