There is an over-the-counter remedy sold at the drug stores for "swimmer's ear". What helps me is a rubber bulb syringe in the shower -- just squirt it good with the warm water. But, I have to caution you that some of those products actually make the tickling and blockage worse in your ear. The ear is like a self-cleaning oven. Sometimes there is an overabundance of wax. DON'T use Q-tips deep in the ear -- you pack the problem tighter. At some point, if the problem isn't better, seek out an Ear Nose Throat specialist -- they have the proper tools. Regular MD doctor will be too harsh with syrigne (but at least they can see up your ear).

It will get the water out of your ear. As well as after a shower It will prevent you from getting what they call swimmer's ear

Use a blow dryer on low heat. Do it for short periods of time if your ear gets too hot.
