i am a type 2 diabetic and the dr changed my meds but i cant take 2 pills a day like he said to take they make me sick as a dog so i have been taking 1 and cnat get my count under 300 what should i do ?

You should call the dr. up and tell him the pills make you sick. Then he can prescribe something else.

First off, tell your doctor. Second, find all the carbs and sugars you are eating, it may be you are consuming too much sugar and are fighting an uphill battle. Exercise daily, drink plenty of water and increase your protein in your diet...meats, cheese, egg whites, etc.

water will help lower your sugar a little, but you should also tell your doctor what happens when you take two pills. And diet will help allot.
