i have a friend right, right......girls always complement my friend on his eyes...but all he says to then is Thanks to them.....can he say something else to them besides Thanks, you know like a little complement back at them to make then feel wanted or special like if your trying to get a conversation started cause you wanna get their # cause they were hot. Is there a specific line to get something going, if you got the first complement?

Are they strangers, or someone he has some other knowledge of? If they are classmates, for instance, he could ask them how they are doing on an assignment or what they think of the current subject. Or, he could notice something about them and comment on it (it doesn't have to be a physical attribute if he is too shy)-- for instance, if they have a band t-shirt on, he could ask what she thinks of the band's newest song.
I don't think there's one specific line. Honestly, if I get fed a generic line by a guy, I write him off. If he takes the time to come up with something specific to me, that's when I will continue the conversation to find out if we have anything in common. Avoid cheesy cliches!

Hmm..i don't think so. Theres nothing really u can prepare before hand to respond to such complimants coz it'll sound too rehearsed or corny. Ur friend is doing the right thing to say thanx..but i suggest he goes further n smile so ever widely or smthng n mk a joke ...If tht person has somewhat of a glaring complimentary qualities ..he could compliment them back e.g her sweet sultry voice etc. Personally i get the compliments becoz of my big brown eyes..so in the future i shuild probably reply ths way..

Me: Thanx..yeah the better to look at u (n starts to laugh or chuckle)..(U get it right..its the Little Red riding hood n Wolf's conversation..)
I dont know..its just an idea. I thnk tht person who complimented ur friend is interested or smthng in him n is making an effort to talk to him. The best he could do is be responsive n joke a bit to make a light conversation..

If a girl compliments me on my eyes I usually have one of two responses.
1) That's very sweet of you to say since I only have eyes for you.
2) Can you tell if they are bedroom eyes?

Ask them questions that will get them to talk about themselves and it can be very general- what do they like to do-family- have any pets- favorite eating places- may lead to a date- D

Say thanks, but then add something like, 'you're really sweet for saying that!" that way you can compliment them but not seem like you're just automatically replying.
