I was told I was a sinner, my conscience told me I was and I repented after receiving the following message.

God's Gospel:

"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;" Romans 3:23

"For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." Romans 6:23

"But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." Romans 5:8

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." John 3:16

"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." Romans 10:9-10

My Daddy and my Pa were preachers, so Jesus was someone I had always heard of, but Christ actually came to know me and that's when I started getting to know him. The Holy Spirit convicted me that I needed a Savior and Lord. It was at that moment I knew that Jesus was coming to meet me. In that encounter I was transformed and the Holy Spirit indwelled within me and has every since. I've made my share of poor choices, because I didn't ask God to lead me, but he's forgiven me and so have I, and we keep going. So, now I take what he has taught me and I share it with people he places into my life. And the more I share about him, the more we get to knowing each other and the more I'm glad he came to know me and I accepted him.

I came to know Christ like I believe every other Christian does, through the work of the Holy Spirit in their hearts.

The source and only source for knowing Christ Jesus is found in the Christian bible. There is no other reference.

Christian believe that the bible is God's word as spoken through the prophets. It has all the information about Jesus. His life, death, and resurrection.

Jesus asked his followers to teach all nations, but Jesus only administered to the Jews.

To answer to your question of how: I came to know God thought his word, and Jesus through the four accounts -- gospels. I came to know Christ Jesus through the Epistles.

u know i would have to say i was a skeptic until my son was born and when he was 6 weeks old he started hemorrhaging rectally and on the way to the hospital he had a death stare which is really freaky and he was literally white as a ghost.
when we go to the hospital they weren't sure he was going to make it, he had lost 3/4 of his blood and they weren't sure where the bleeding was really coming from

they gave him 2 blood transfusions and out of nowhere he quit bleeding when my family prayed for him continuously.

after several days of tests they said they have no explanation of where the blood was coming from but appears to have stopped and they don't have a diagnosis for him, he is a true miracle because they only gave him blood they did no other treatments just tests

im proud to say he has never had anything wrong with him since and he just turned 13

C'mon, BASH-BABIES! Cut it out, already!!! I swear y'all are too immature for your own good! In fact, I'm putting in a request to Yahoo that all BASH-BABIES go bash it out amongst themselves in their own section!...Ya, know....Kinda like, the kids play room at McDonalds so all the mature adults can have a decent discussion w/out interruption!!

K, sorry hun...I fully intended to answer your question but had to get a little somethin' off my chest.

Anyways, I was born into a loving, Christian home where I was introduced to my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, at an early age. I've never really known life w/out Him. He has demonstrated His love and care towards me throughout my life and continues to do so today. Sometimes I envy those who meet Him later in life because of the beautiful change that takes place within their hearts. I'm not saying He hasn't changed a few things in mine.^^ Just the magnificent demonstration of His power to bring a lost soul out of a world of sin and into the newness of life; there simply aren't words to describe what I mean! I'm still so very thankful for His presence everyday and have learned to tell Him that whenever I see samples of His love. (beautiful nature, fresh air, loving family, all the good things in life including life itself)

Thanks for asking this question.

um, to tell you the truth i was born into it, and I thank God everyday that I didnt have to go through some major lifechanging event to do it. I used to say that I didn't have a good testimony because of this but then I was talking to some people and they told me that since I hadn't backslidden like many people or pastor kids for example (i am not saying that i have never sinned because i do, we all do, and i am not saying that all pastor kid and such backslid.) but other than that, that is it. Peace

Oddly enough I simply started up conversation.
So I heard you are God, So If you're real I'd like to talk to ya. See what you're about because noone really seems to know. If you don't answer me I'll just figure you're not real and go about my way. So then, I'm talkin to Jesus asking questions like "Show me something cool, like teach me something fascinating" when all of a sudden i saw something, in everything, that I still can't describe, but I'd never noticed it before. It's like an ultra-fine detail, I saw the love that he put into his creations. I said whoa! I started talking to him more and more regularly. Then, as I was talking and questioning (sometimes) a stranger would come up to me and say something like "I know this seems weird, but I feel like I need to say something to you". Then they go on to tell me something relevant to what I was talking to Jesus about.

That is how I started to know Jesus, and I'm still coming to know him better. Oh My God, I'm so worthless without him now.

My parents .My dad was a Catholic, and my mom was a Presbyterian. They didn`t make me go to either church but let me chose my own way.I started out Babtist then Church of God and learned a lot in both churches.I thank my parents for an ingrained idea that salvation and the love of God was a private thing between your self and God and that you needed to learn about what you believed for yourself and not take for granted what someone told you.I come to my own set of ideas and I don`t go to either church now but I love God and I believe that the people are his church and that you can gather anywhere and God will be with you.

came to know Him in a wonderful and amazing way. He made a way to save me and I was totally unaware that He had plans for me.
I met the Lord in A small town in Louisiana, I was catholic and did not know the Lord, did not own a Bible had never held one, and definitely never read one.
In that small town in Louisiana a friend of my "rocker roller" husband's wife came to minister to me and introduce me to Her Lord and Savior, she took me to her church, I received Jesus, got baptized and became a faithful church member. My husband divorced me because as a rocker, he could not have a Jesus freak for a wife.
Being new in my Christian walk, I was heartbroken that my conversion had caused me a divorce and I turned to the world of drinking, but the Lord kept calling me back with a still Small voice reminding me that I belonged to Him and I would never be happy away from Him.
I came back to the Lord after 15 years of drunkenness and another divorce, I sobered up and made him My Lord again 8 years ago, I am still His, and nothing will ever separate me from the love of God ever again.
