The original sin was wanting to be as god(s). Humanism is the 2nd oldest religion.

You are wrong. The sin is disobedience of God. He told them that they could eat of any tree in the garden but not from the Tree of Knowledge. Satan tempted Eve and she questioned God's authority and she convinced Adam and they ate of the forbidden fruit. Disobedience.

Adam fell that man might be and men(and women) are that they might have joy.
The first commandment God gave Adam and Eve was to multiply and [fill] the Earth. They couldn't fulfill this commandment until they transgressed the commandment to not partake of the tree of knowledge of good and evil. We need to know where we came from and it was the first man, Adam and the first Woman, Eve.
God knew this fall was going to happen and he had to make provision for the fall to happen within the bounds of the personal choice or agency of this choice son and daughter of God.
Adam and Eve were as innocent as children but they were not ignorant of those first two commandments and they were caught in what we call a catch 20 situation and this that they would not have their agency trampled upon.
They were like children and children don't know how to procreate, as it were.
In a certain way by transgressing they were able to obey the first commandment to procreate and thus setting in motion the plan of our father in heaven to allow us to come to Earth to be tested if we would be faithful in all things whatsoever the Lord should command us.
How wonderful it was that Adam and Eve did this thing for us, their posterity; that we might eventually become just like our heavenly parents and partake of eternal life through the sufferings of our Savior, Jesus Christ and our obedience to His commandments.

The Sin was multi-part... eating of the forbiden fruit, disobaying the reveiled word of God, believing the lie of satan, and placing their own will above that of God.

it is referd to as The Sin of Adam because Adam was given the headship by God and with that came the resposability that he failed.

I beg to differ... they disobeyed God and both ate the fruit.
However there was much involved in that:
Eve gave into temptation and listened to the serpent...
The serpent was very cunning and thoroughly deceived Eve.
ADAM LISTENED TO HIS WIFE'S VOICE (likely what you are looking for)

Eve was deceived and Adam was not. 1Tim. 2:14
Therefore while both sinned Adam's sin was more reprehensible for it was with full knowledge.
He although eating after Eve is whom God indicated was responsible for bringing sin into the world. Rom. 2:4
Due to the fact that he loved his wife so much he felt he could present God with a scenario and corner him into changing his view. After all they were the only two humans.
Little did they know.

Genesis 3:6
6) And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her ; and he did eat.

The real sin was lust which lead to the disobedience; for eve saw that that the tree was pleasant to the eyes.
I pray for you. Amen

Please don't tell me you're listening to that idiot Arnold Murray-of The Shepherds Chapel. He says the original sin was Eve had sex with Satan. Murray is a false teacher.
The Bible truth is that God told Adam/Eve not to do something, but they did it anyway = disobedience.

Not owning up to their individual role in eating the fruit...in essence they lied by playing the blame game. And by doing so, they made themselves separate from God, but I don't see how anything that happened in that story is a sin at all. There is no original sin, it's a myth created by religion.
