Adam and Eve is just a story. It never actually happened. IMHO, it's a story about transition from childhood to adulthood.

My friend, the original sin was Adam and Eve eating from the tree of knowledge of good and evil, after God specifically told them not to. I would ignore the other answer, that person doesn't know what they are talking about. If you have any questions, read the creation account in Genesis Chapter 1-3

Sin did come from the tree of knowledge. God made Adam and Eve to be together as a couple so it was not a sin for them to have sex.

The original sin was disobedience. Both Adam and Eve chose not to listen to God. Instead they thought that what the serpent was telling them, was better for them. We have seen the results. God indeed knows what is best. To be fruitful and multiply is a gift from God, not a sin.

What you were taught was original sin. Sex was not only not a sin between Adam and Eve, it was commanded by their instructions to multiply. Some people just didn't have the priviledge of being taught truthfully as you were.

You are right about the tree of knowledge. It's because Eve then Adam bit the apple and disobeyed God that sin was started. They knew they did wrong and they were ashamed of their actions. They were afraid to show their naked selves to God when God called them,so they tried to hide. Sex was not the first sin and Yes, God did want them to multiply...

God tells Adam and Eve not to eat of the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil. If this was the only way they could understand the difference between good and evil, how could they have known that it was wrong to disobey God and eat the fruit?

No, no, no. It is not sex. There is nothing sinful about sex between a man and his wife! Scriptures reveal this. The sin they committed was to place Satan above God. They inclined their ear to listen to Satan and to BELIEVE HIM instead of believing God.

you kidding me, read song of soloman, God created sex, and he made it enjoyable, but he askes requires that we wait until we are married and we only do it with one person, They were punished because they were decieved by satan (serpent) to eat from the tree that God specifically said not to eat from, Then after they did it the were ashamed and covered up there bodies, them having sex has nothing to do with them getting in trouble in the garden.
