It depends on if the ex feels the same way about there being a chance... but even if theres not maybe just give them a call and say Hey... I remembered today was your birthday and thought I'd give you a call and see how things are....
Good Luck and God Bless..
P.S. Theres never any hurt in trying!

Recognising and remembering are 2 totally different things. If you have been with this person for a long time then you will probably always remember the birthday, however if you are still recognising it and thinking about it you may still have feelings there.

It doesn't matter if the person is an ex or not. Everyone loves getting a "happy birthday!" greeting, no matter what. So recognize their birthday, they'll love it. Who knows if you'll get back together. It's still just a nice thing to do.

I remember all my ex birthdays probably coz i have a good memory. We never forget people we met in life, good or bad they are still in our thoughts but that doesn't mean that buried relationship should be resurfaced again. Not at least if you want it.
my policy in life is if a love relationship hasn't worked, there's another relationship for it; friendship!
And we always remember friends birthday.

I remember the crushes birthday I had in middle school. Is that bad, it is just something I remember. I don't think it means anything. I guess it is something your brain automatically remembers.

If you still want to get back with her, then YES. You should definitely show her that you still care. As you know by now, girls love it when guys remember important dates (i.e. BD, valentine's, anniversary, Christmas, etc.)
Good luck!

i would recognise it, maybe not go crazy with the gift. But something to show your still thinking about her/him. But i think i would also still move on.

I used to but it didn't do me any good. I think if you want to remain friends its a nice gesture.

My policy is that it's better to regret having done something than to have done NOTHING, so Just Do It!
