In short order...how would you end the current and on-going conflict between Israel and the Palestinian's? What could America really do as a "grand gesture" to show that America does care and respect our Arab brothers and sisters? Why do we treat the Arab's and the Arab world like they are 3rd. class trash? This country can be so "one-sided" and "two-faced" at times! I have nothing against any of them.

Who has been feeding you that line of crap. the west doesn't treat Arab countries like third class trash, their leaders do, the best thing America could do for the Israeli/ Palestinian trouble is to nuke Palestine, and then Syria for supplying Palestine with weapons

Hmmm.
I would give the Palestinians the northern half, the Israeli's the southern half and that way they both have access to the Red Sea.
Jerusalem would become an independent territory and would serve as a world seat for religious leaders of all denominations. The Swiss could police it.
As for America and it's grand gesture ... no chance with the **** that is in power there at the moment i reckon. And even if there was one, it (America) would only be the instigator of a conflict somewhere else cause taking war mongering out of the American economy would only cause massive unemployment in America and we can't be having that now, can we?

The primary problem is that each starts from a false premise - "my god is better than your god and my god wants you converted and/or killed". Of course, there's no such thing as god in the first place so the whole argument rests on primitive thought being allowed to influence so-called civilised people.
Of the two, the mohommedans are the more pugilistic. They have a "death fixation" which sometimes borders on psychopathy (if there is such a word :-) ). Perhaps the best thing to do would be to round up the fundamentalist leaders and hang the lot. The people, like all races, are harmless automatons or, if you prefer, sheep with limited education and brain and happy with 3 meals a day and a mate.
Maybe Gilbert and Sullivan had it right in their operetta the Mikado when the King (Mikado) sings about letting the punishment fit the crime and goes on to discuss the various possibilities of boiling oil or melted lead - something interesting like that!

Ehem....doesn't anyone remember how the Jews blatantly insulted Mohammad by carving out his name on the body of a pig about a decade ago?!!I do,and I think it's time America and the UN push big pacifiers into the Israelites' mouths and stop crying over human rights, land ownership rights whatever. Is that enough or does anyone wants to make some more bets and protect the Jews...??

Not all americans feel that way. The media focuses it on the negative to make the story juicy. I don't think AMERICA can solve this long dispute between Israel and Palenstinians. THey have been fighting for years and years, even before AMERICA existed. We just like putting our noses into things. We try to be the GOOD BIG SISTER i guess.

Just like in any conflict/argument, both sides have to sit it out, talk and accept that there are compromises to be made by both sides, agree on them, and implement the agreement.
Nothing else will end this.
By the way whoever says eliminate that or the other is a prat.

Indeed, no short and easy answer.

If only we could tell the leaders of warring nations that only the leaders do the fighting through a no-holds barred bare arm one-on-one (and no proxy) boxing bout, then we'd have less bloodshed and, definitely, no politician will dare declare war at all. After all, war is an instrument of national policy regardless of any politician saying it is the last resort.

Simple. Allow the Palestians to have their own independent nation in Gaza and Goland Heights. I'm talking a real nation, not an semi autonomous state.

I'm not saying violence was right. But if someone occupied my land since 1967, wouldn't let us be our own country...I'd be pissed.

A 2 state solution is the only way to solve the mess.

By removing the religion from the minds of the human animal. It was a bacward step in the path of human evolution which has caused every conflict since those that conjured up the idea published their book.

Not America or anyone else is going to end this conflict. It has been going of for so long that neither side wants it to end regardless of what they say.
