A wise woman once told me and I am passing on to you: "Pick your battles." Your daughter sounds like a parent's dream, don't upset the balance. This too, shall pass.

Nature, and God intended for us to be barefoot, but we paved the streets, and sidewalks, making hard surfaces requiring shoes, maybe barefoot sandals, or flip flops might be the answer. You do not have a problem, she could be going around barefoot up to her eyebrows (naked). No being barefoot is not just a teen thing, I still enjoy going barefoot at 70.

Let her go barefoot for heaven sakes.. if that's the only problem that you have with her thank God and get over it.
It could just be a phase, or she might simply like the feeling of being free.. let her do it. She'll realize soon enough that it's not a nice habit.

i know the feeling i go barefoot all the time i don't like wearing shoes don't know why guess it is cause the shoes i like don't fit my feet so i prefer to go barefoot you may want to ask her why she goes barefoot all the time it could be cause all of her friends are doing it or that her feet are hurting her as far as the black feet just let let her know that she needs to scrub the bottoms of her feet before putting them on the couch even though you know that the black wont wear on the couch you just don't want to see her feet when they are so black also tell her that when she gets her license she has to wear shoes when she drives cause it is a law and you don't want to see her stuck on the side of the road with a flat tire or car problems with no shoes on good luck hope you are right with it just being a phase

I personally love to go barefoot, if not I'm wearing sandals. I think that it is a personal preference. She may grow out of it, but probably not. I wish my daughter wanted to go barefoot. I can't seem to get her out of her winter boots, no matter what the season. Picture a bathing suit and winter boots!?!? Hilarious, but embarrasing in public!

I love going barefoot. In fact, Hawaii is probably the only place where you can go barefoot in the major art museum of the state--the Honolulu art museum. They hardly notice anything. I'm 16 myself. But perhaps you want to make sure the rugs won't get soiled? It sounds strange that it should be that black.

could be just a phase. If you live where the weather changes i'ld say once the ground gets cold THIS TO WILL PASS. No one walks barefoot in SNOW.

I dont see the big deal or why you are making a big deal out of it.Do you have somehting against being barefoot? Now as far as her feet being dirty on the couch she needs to wash them before putting them on your couch but other than that im not sure what the issue is.maybe you could be a little more specific about it for us.

I LOVE being barefoot, I know when and where I need to wear shoes but sometimes it just feels good to be barefoot.
Shoes never fit me right, thats why I do it.
