I have this room and it is not really getting lots of light so i was wondering what colour i should paint it cause i'm beginning to hate the pink. its just a 10ft by 9 ft room where one side is a built in wardrobe and on the other opposite side is a window which covers 2/3 of the wall. but i have to cover that window up 24/7 cause then everyone can see me!

How about investing in some window blinds? That way you can tilt the blinds at an upward angle so your neighbors can't see you and at the same time, the sunlight can be exposed? As for the color of your room, I suggest painting it a light color. Dark colors can make a room seem smaller. You can go to the Home Depot or Lowe's and they will have staff on hand to help you choose from the vast array of colors.

Light beige. Looks almost white, makes the room look bright, airy and more spacious.
Easy to match the curtains and furniture too as it goes with most colours.
If you find it too boring or get dirty too easily, you can even have 2 colours, with the darker colour about 1.2m high from the floor level. Banana yellow below and light beige or off white above.
May look more fun too.

A cheery medium yellow will brighten your room and it will match with so many colors or contrasts great with blue. You could go with orange, brighter yellows, greens, white, tourquoise, or shades of blue with it or mix it up with 3 of the colors for the main colors! Have fun and make it a fun room for yourself!

Chocolate Brown on the walls, make one wall an accent and paint it beige or gold. But any color you use accent walls are good, you can make it a different color, and place paintings, objects, or the floating shelves up and it looks cool and different.
