Stop trying to please idiots. It's not even personal. Any girl dating their "widdle boy" is going to be cast in a harsh light by them. Just ignore them and don't play their mind games.

Wait until you and their son are both adults, marry their son, and live happily ever after with their son. Other than that, there's no easy way to win over some parents.

Honestly..if you need to prove anything to his parents..they aren't worth it. I just went through this with a 38 year guy. They need to let go and let their son live his own life! If you have to go as far as "proving" yourself..you are worth more and obviously..they didn't think much of you to begin with.

Trying to prove to everybody that you really love your Bf, is a strong indicator that you are not feeling very secure in your relationship right now.
Take comfort in knowing the truth about how he feels about you, & forget about trying to please everybody else.
As long as HE is not listening to his parents, then you don't have much to worry about.
So, Feel Better!

I wouldn't worry about pleasing them. It would be different, in my opinion, if you were a man. And since he is a man, he should deal with his parents, not you, and not allow them to be an influence.
Besides, they'll eventually come around, most likely. Just be patient.

Good luck ....sometimes that can be impossible but if you really love him just keep trying. Maybe for Thanksgiving you can send them a flower arrangement just from you. That might work.

Be supportive of him. Get to know his parents and his family. Go to family's house for events and just because.

If you love him and they know it in their hearts that should be enough for any parent.

Either have his children or wait until you are 30 to marry him.
