I have a Physic Lab (In college, just so you know), and I must admit that I have a HUGE crush on him. He's not classically handsome, but he is exactly what I look for in a guy. I've had little stupid crushes on teachers before, but I have never met anyone who so closely resembles my ideal man. But of course, he's an instructor, and I know that flirting with your teachers is traditionally frowned upon. I don't know what to do! Any advice or encouragement would be very welcome!!!

FYI: I don't really plan to make a move on him or anything until after the class is over with, but I am afraid that if I don't plant the seeds now, nothing will happen after I stop seeing him so often.

Luv, you're in college...and a teaching assistant is a college student, too. (Working on a graduate degree, perhaps..but still a student.) Plus, you're both old enough so that a few years' difference in age doesn't make a big difference like it did when you were younger. (An 18 year old college freshman dating a 23 year old graduate student is not that big a deal....unlike a 13 year old girl in seventh grade having a crush on an 18 year old college freshman, for example.)
Be nice, ask him a question or two (after all...that's what he's there for, right?) Flirt a little if you like...who knows what could happen?

Use him as motivation to pass the class then tell him how you feel when your done with it. It will save a lot of awquard moments. And use the time that your in his class or labs to get to know him. When you have time ask him small questions about him... maybe not like in front of everyone but I think that you get the idea. Anyway... Good Luck!

TOO FUNNY! I did the same thing in college with my college algebra TA. I flunked the class twice, and we had this hot dude that shook his lil' buns in front of the class when he wrote on the board. Within the first week of class, all the girls and gay boys moved to the front. I attended class everyday just to watch his ***, and even attended math labs! I went to him the remaining weeks of class and told him how hard I had tried, but I was still worried of failing, he said not to worry. I know I was making an F, he gave me a C-.

Got bless cute TAs. DON'T DO ANYTHING, let him be your motivation for attending class and passing! God bless straight boy booty

it would really look bad if you will start flirting
instead use this strong emotion to inspire you to do your best in his classes, dont let his face distract you make this emotion work for you, use this as motivation to become better
to be worthy of attention from your teacher, usually you are just a student and you dont level with him so before you fall in love improve yourself first make yourself worthy
if that relationship has a chance it will come afterwards, not today and not tomorrow, and you know that might soon pass so dont make any rush decisions, youre just romantically infatuated, you dont even know who he really is
guard your heart
think!!!

I am in college too, and I know that if you are a TA or grad student and teach, you are not allowed to date any of your students. I am sorry, but once he finishes his semester teaching your class, then you could pursue something. Until then, you will have to wait.

Wait until you pass his class and then tell him how you feel. Don't do anything while you're his student. You could cause him a lot of trouble.
