You are in a difficult position here. Meeting people online or even over the phone is risky. They can lie, cheat, and make themselves out to be whatever they want you to think they are. I think that if you`re having these kind of doubts and haven`t even met yet it should be able to tell you this person isn`t worth it. You`re already doubting and mistrusting them for whatever reason, so I think you should just forget this relationship and move on to the next. Good luck hun!! And be careful, you never know who people REALLY are on here and there are TONS of creeps, weirdos, cheaters, jerks and freaks out there!

The only way is to continue talking with them over a long period of time. Save the conversations or try to remember them. Notice whether or not they have been consistent in the things they have told you. If they are lying, chances are they will slip up at some point. If they have not slipped up within a reasonable amount of time, they are telling the truth.

First let me say that if you have to ask this question then you must have a reason to doubt the person. If you have doubt you really should listen to and follow what your heart tells you.
Now you can search dating sites, myspace, and those kinds of things.....but unless you have access to their computer you are never going to find out everything.
