I honestly do not know.
Looking at the varietyof answers to your question, and having read dozens of other Q&A in this category, I have come up with a theory:

Perhaps religions are like boogers. You have a God-given right to pick your own, but you shouldn't be surprised when your friends and neighbors admit that they are amused or suprised by what you are willing to swallow.

when I was young, and dinos walked the earth .. it was "pagan"
but "pagan" has been often snatched by the wiccans and neo-celtic bunches.

Heathen counts. In the bible belt -- well I could go on but ungodly comes to mind....

Interestingly Internet searching seems to indicate simply "not a christian" or some pro -- I am a X (fill in the X with favorite)

PAGAN - it actually means from the country. In the early days of Christianity it speard rapidly through the cities, but country folks were not yet Christians, so the term took on the meaning of someone (or group) who wre not Christian.

We don't generally use such labels in ordinary conversation. The general term, however, would be "non-Christian". To get a more specific label would require knowledge about the person in question.

Pagan can mean not a Christian

Pagan means someone who worships more than one god. So that wouldn't apply to Jews and Muslims.

I think it would just be non-Christian.
