The Bible was completed at the end of the 1rst century. The church fathers after the apostles, all wrote to each other as well as to their congregations many letters and teaching letters. They quote every book in the Bible at some point.Plus these guys were students of the original 11(plus Mattias and Paul) and they never mention the Gospel of Judas ,or Thomas or Barnabas, or any of the Apocrayphal writings. Those are all bogus books written by people after the 1rst century. The Old Testament had it's frauds too that the Jews didn't accept, like Susanna,Bel and the Dragon,I and II Macabees (good history though),Tobias and others. Jesus came to die for us,it wasn't up to Judas or anyone else.It is BS

The so-called "Gospel of Judas" was written by the Gnostic cult. The Gnostics were a group that broke off from Orthodox Christianity during the 2nd & 3rd centuries AD (the word Gnostic comes from `gnosis', or "knowledge". The group maintained that they had a "special knowledge" of the Gospel message). They were a very involved in mysticism and denied the things of the physical/flesh (among other things, they taught that Christ did not actually have an earthly body...it only appeared to be a physical body!). A number of early Christian leaders wrote against the Gnostic's perversion of the Gospel message. The Gnostics authored numerous documents and attached the names of Biblical figures to tout the writing's importance. The recently found "Gospel of Judas" is an example of one such document.

TV's version of the Gospel of Judas has one goal: to generate ratings. Any knowledgeable scholar knows that this book is much ado about nothing...

Bogus historical revisionism.
Judas committed suicide very shortly after Jesus' crucifixion.
When would he have written it?

The alleged "Gospel of Judas" does not meet the Bible's own criteria for authenticity:
"Out of the mouths of two witnesses shall a thing be established. "

False. How could Judah have written a book in a day. He comitted the act one day and died the next day. NO time to write. Think about it.................God is perfect.

didn't see it, but there are books that used to be in the bible thatwre removed and scriptures around that should have been put in it, so who knows.
