Take some AP classes and get good scores on the SAT I and SAT II subject tests. Go to their website and see what's required or recommended.

Have excellent study habits
Get exceptionally good grades
Be active in Student Council, etc.
Have a good record and report of Community Activities.
Have a close relative high in the Boards of, say, UCLA.

take challenging classes, get good grades, take the SATs until you are satisfied with your score (start early so you have enough time), be aware that you may need to take SAT IIs (I didn't learn this until it was almost too late to take the ones i needed), be active in your community, participate in clubs/school organizations, etc. Most of all though, dont be fake. Don't try to join everything and be the President of every group in your town. Try a bunch of activities, decide which you like best, and continue with 2 or 3 of those. Hope this helped! (I just began applying to college... I wish someone had given me this advice)

Study, study, study. Get really good grades, try for all A's and be active in at least one after-school activity. Student Council would be a good choice.

my senior year in highschool grew to alter right into a humorous tale quite, its demanding going to training even some days a week whilst i understand they woudln't be sure you me in any way ever. All i grew to alter into doing is looking forward to being carried out with the sledge of highschool and onto real life subject concerns.

talk to your counselor , make sure you are in the college predatory classes,foreign language, algebra and other math classes as you advance, biology ,physics, etc... develop good study habits, join clubs at school, do community activities, get involved stay out of trouble and get good grades. good luck, i wish you well
