Why does Islam's Quran say that Allah's curse is on all Christians and Jews?

The Quran "The Jews call 'Uzair a son of Allah, and the CHRISTIANS CALL CHRIST the son of Allah. …they but imitate what the unbelievers of old used to say. ALLAH'S CURSE BE ON THEM: how they are deluded away from the Truth!" http://www.usc.edu/dept/msa/quran/009.qm

This of course is hatred in the highest degree, if Allah says that he has cursed all Christians and Jews, then a good Muslim is to also hate what Allah hates.

In case theres any confusion on this point, the Quran continues with the Christian and Jew hate ---

Quran 5:51 YUSUFALI: O ye who believe! TAKE NOT THE JEWS AND THE CHRISTIANS FOR YOUR FRIENDS AND PROTECTORS: They are but friends and protectors to each other. If that wasnt enough, well the debate is ended In 60:4 where Muslims are told to hate non-muslims, simply for being non-muslim. read it.

Thank you for your informative exposition of the Quranic verses on this matter. The thing that boggles my mind is how gullible they are in regards to the origins of their faith. The Bible existed centuries before the Quran and boar witness about the prophets and ONE TRUE GOD. Now, a counterfiet (forgery) never exists before the original. The original always precedes the forgery. Yet, they are willing to believe that the companions of Muhammad wrote the Quran since Muhammad could not read or write.

I respect the fact that they try to honor and worship Allah. If Satan cannot tempt us into a sinful life he will deceive. I believe this is what has happened with them. Muhammad's companions simply rewrote the Bible to fit their agenda. May God help us all during these times.

As you probably know, there are two types of questions. There are questions which are not supposed-by the asker-to call for answers but for mere confirmations of a specific answer, the answer already implied or suggested in the questions.

Dear all,

If you read the Koran, you will realised that they have conflicting view on Jews and Christian.

Mohamad initially encouraged the Muslim to look up to the people of the Book, for they have the answer. People of the Book we know is the Jews and Christain, for these people have the Bible.

However, when Mohamad realised that the Jews and Christian will respect him but never acknowledged him as Prophets (after the conqured of Madina, when he became militaryly mighty), he order to murdered them, and to taken their womens as sex slaves, and order high tax on these 'people of the book'.

He went on that the later revelations of God shall overtake the older revelations of God, in that those written earlier one, which now contrict his current action, the old order no more valid!! This is the person who changed revelation of God according to the wimps and fancy of his desire!

Can the real God ever changed the revelation? Yes, he had changed his mind, like when he wanted to punished his people, but when the people repent, God changed his mind. But in the Bible, when God change his mind, it is out of mercy.

But in koran, when God (if ever changed his mind), it is to kill! Can anyone accept that?

If the one and only truth God ever change his mind, and if i am a Muslim, killed the Christian and Jews and died, when coming to the gate of heaven, will the angels ever tell me "sorry son of so and so, the revelation changed'.

Will this ever happen?

To me, in the board principle, especially revelation, God will never change his plan. But for minor issue, he may change our of his compassion for human races.
