I saw a man with 7 wives
Each wife had 7 sacks
Each sack had 7 cats
Each cat had 7 kittens
Kitten, cats, sacks, wives
How many were going to St. Ives?
2. Apple Mystery
A mom has three children and seven apples. She wants to devide all the apples among her 3 children so no apples are left over. But she knows that her kids are very messy so she decides to give one piece or chunk of apple to each child. With using all seven apples she ends up being able to use all of them and gives each child one piece with none being left over.
How was she able to do this?

He took no plums, and left no plums.

1. 1 only me. They were going other way from St Ives.
2. Made apple pie. Gave each child one piece of the pie.
3. The man has only 1 eye and he saw 2 plums and took 1 so that left 1. Singular and not plural

1)Favorite riddle as a child "As I was going " only me going 1
2)she cut each apple in 3 pieces giving each child 7 pieces (=2 whole apples + 1 piece each )
3) blind people SEE with their fingers so he SAW plums on a tree by touch........he took NO plums because he BOUGHT them from the tree's owner . He bought ALL the plums LEAVING none left
