Flutter kicks are leg lifts where you lie flat on your back, lift both legs off the ground and keep them there, but lift one leg a little higher than the other (about a foot) and alternate legs - almost like a front crawl swim kick. You can do them lying on your belly too.

For Six Inches, you lie on your back and lift your legs slightly off the ground (about 6 inches) and hold them there. Start with 20 seconds. Repeat them several times with a rest in between sets. As your strength increases, hold them up for longer amounts of time.

V-ups are like sit-ups, but you lift your straight legs and your head up at the same time.

In Bicycle crunches, you alternate lifting your right arm to your left leg, then left arm to right leg as you do "sit-uos" or crunches.

Start all of them with a short amount of reps (10-15) and do 3-5 sets.

Flutter Kicks- (boy, THIS brings back some scary Basic Training memories!) Lie on your back with your arms tucked tights beside your body and your hands tucked just under you for comfort. Raise your legs, parallel and together, about 5 inches off the ground and raise your head up as well so that your head and legs are elevated but your shoulders, arms and torso are still on the ground. Now gently and slowly raise your right leg in the air a little higher and as you bring it down raise your left leg a little higher. Rotate your legs back and forth like that. OOWWWWWW!!!!! Do about 3 reps of 30 or work yourself up to it.

Flutter kicks are like leg lifts except you raise your legs up and down like the are fluttering in the air, six inches is just raising you legs six inches off the ground and holding it there for a set time. These work you abs. Bicycle crunches is where you have you hands behind your head like going a crunch but adding you knees to it, your knees meet your elbows while doing the crunch.
