Here are some tips hope this will be helpful to you.

1. As the top of your head is exposed day in day out, don't expose it further to hot water. It strips the natural oils. Wash your hair upside down, preferably under the shower. Remember to wash with the cuticle not against it.
2. Wash your hair from underneath, but only the scalp. When you rinse, the shampoo will naturally run over the rest of your hair.
3. Use a little shampoo applied initially to the scalp, use a gentle finger tip massage, rinse and repeat. Use a 2 in 1 shampoo conditioner.
4. Use leave in conditioners. Remember to condition with the cuticle not against it.
5. Use a weekly deep moisturizing conditioner and leave it in for a couple of hours. Remember to condition with the cuticle not against it.
6. Get some Indian head oil and the day before you wash your hair, massage some in, making sure you cover every strand of hair (especially the ends). It is worth taking the time to massage the oil into your hair. If you have the time, leave it in over night. Rinse off and wash as normal. Remember to oil with the cuticle, not against it.
7. When towel drying, ring out your hair with a dry towel, use 2-3 towels if necessary, but do not rub your hair dry. You need to keep the cuticle flat, so drag the towel down your wet hair.
7. Put serum on damp hair, dragging it down your hair and flattening the cuticle.
8. Comb your hair until it is dry, before brushing.
8. Try and dry your hair naturally. Perhaps pop in rollers and blow dry the rollers with a gentle heat. Unroll gently, then use straighteners (pop some more serum or fizz control cream on again to prevent scorching). Keep the cuticles flat!
9. Use a warm (not hot) setting on your hairdryer, blow drying down the hair keeping the cuticles flat.
10. Don't wash your hair too often. You will only strip the natural oils. Once a week is fine, unless you have been sweating, or getting really dirty!

Ok this is what helps me......it's called "Lamaur Straightening Balm". It's for curly, permed, or coarse hair. You use it after you towel dry your hair but you only use a small amount!!! It'll control frizzy flyaways and adds shine as well!! You can buy this at a beauty supply store. Good luck
