I do not know your exact location but wherever you are there are lots of job opportunities for nurse practitioners posted in quite a lot of internet websites. Just search for "nursing jobs (specify your location) and you will get handful of results.

Just a little thought for you to consider. Why not expand and go for nurse practitioner. The pay and opportunities are greater and you only need acouple extra classes to do it. Pay is about 20-25% greater.

Go to www.salary.com within the site you fill in your information that your a nurse practitioner and put in your desired city and state of work. It will then give you the average salary for that particular area. Then it will give you the option to search for opening positions within that area. This site really helps me because it give you a knowledge base to work off of.
