i was just wondering if you need a Degree to get in or if you can just go into trining. i looked on the website, www.cbp.gov but it didnt help. any suggestions would be helpful thanks.

Hey, I went to the cpb site as well, and this is what it said,
"New hires must successfully complete approximately five months of paid training at the CBP Border Patrol Academy in Artesia, NM, on topics such as immigration and nationality laws, Spanish, physical training, and marksmanship. Border Patrol Agents must be willing to work overtime and shift work under arduous conditions, and be proficient in the use of and carry firearms. Border Patrol Agents are subject to random drug testing. They may also be sent on temporary assignments on short notice and on permanent reassignments to any duty location."

I am unsure about border patrol, but I do know youmay be able to get alittle more information from the Police and or Fishery. As they also have something to do with border patrol. Your nearest council also can be of help

cross the desert late at nite and try a run for the border near the look out station while it is manned. you should spend about at least an hour in border patrol HQ.
that is how to get into border partrol.
