one year ago my hair was very long ( down to my butt), but since i used chemical straightening twice in one year both by myself, it really damaged my hair, it get even worse since i used to flat iron it every day with a cheap walmart flat iron.this summer my hair dresser was shocked, it just cut it untill my shoulders. My hair is very very culry, so that short it just goes pouffy, if i don't straighten it, i don't know how to style it. I'm using Joyco for damaged hair. I wanna know what can I do to get my hair healty again and long as before, and being able to starighten it without damage it.

First of all it sounds like you need deep conditioning treatments at least one every two weeks and the if u do use a flat iron on your hair use it first with a thermal setting spray that helps protect the hair from the heat of the iron and no more chemical relaxing until your hair is back in shape.

cut the damaged ends, stop relaxing your hair leave it with the pros, stop putting heat on it. when you relaxer your own hair you are over processing and under processing because you can't see what needs to be done. most likely you either bought the wrong strength, getting supper to make it supper straight. you use it according to the texture of your hair not because you want it bone straight( which isn't healthy for your hair.) The flat irons will damage your hair if your not using something to protect it from heat, which will cause split ends wirery ends etc.

Be glad you have curly hair!!! Ask your hair dresser for suggestions and or styles. Mine is straight as a board---I can't even get my hair to hold with a curling iron-It goes flat in no time.
