There is no real answer to this question but what I have learned of what love is to me and that is the word LOVE itself holds the answer.......
(L)isten: and validate them by hearing and empathizing.
(O)verlook: their minor character flaws as they will overlook yours.
(V)alue: who they are and what they mean to you.
(E)xpress: how you love them not just with words but with actions.

When you fall in love you know right away it is the most amazing feeling in the world. Each day is sweeter just because that person is there, and when they arent there, you feel like something is missing. They are all you can think about, and you have constant butterflies knowing they just exist. You go out of your way to see them and you feel your best when they are near. You feel on top of the world when you find out they love you back. You have to remind yourself that you are not dreaming, this is real, and they are real. That is what love means.

There are all sorts of love....romantic love, love for your children, love for your family and friends, love for your country, love for yourself. But if you are asking what universally is considered romantic love....it is not what you might think. Yes, there is desire for the physical body of your love, and there is the desire to spend every moment you can with them....because it makes you feel good to do so. But real love, the kind that lasts a lifetime, also includes the real desire for your love to be the very best that they can be, even if it means that you must go away from your love. It means wanting what is the best and highest good for that person....even before your own needs and desires.
That is real love.

love is when you care for someone so much you would do almost anything for them.loving them no matter what even if their looks have changed.i can't think of words to explain how i feel out my husband.its hard to stay mad at him when we argue because i just want to be with hm and hug him.we have been together almost 5 years and after having my second baby i have depression and obsessive compulsive disorder and i have really weird symptoms.like i cant let my husband watch videos with girls watch movies with pretty girls talk to girls..i know it sounds weird and everyone thinks im just really jealous but i hate that i have it and i try to change it but i cant so i am seeing a Dr about it.but no matter how weird it is and how mad i make my husband he still loves me.he will tease me about too.he calls me his weird little angle LOL.he has anger pr obs and is tring to get help with it and i still love him.i know how he is on the inside and how caring and loving he can be.like he knows that even with my weird probs i love him more than anytihng and that know one will ever love him as much as i do.he is my life,my husband,and my bestfriend.i hope we will be together forever.he is the first thing i want to see when i wake up and the last thing i want to see when i go to bed at night.it took me a long time to find someone like him and now i finally have my soul mate

Ok well there is really no words to define love.. But I will give it a try. Love is when you find that on special person that you cannot live without and when you find that one person you will fight for her. You will put her in front of everything, you life, everything. And maybe everything you do for her aint so clean, but you know in your heart you love her and that those 4 letters is all that matters.

love to me is when you care about someone and don't care what anyone say to them you will stick up for them. Love is when you will do whatever it takes to make sure they are OK. Love is when you remember people feeling before you say something you don't mean. Love is when you can picture you life with that person. Love is an amazing thing don't take it for granted.

Love is a special connection between two people that have deep and passionate feelings for each other.They would never hurt you and protect you from what your afraid off.They are truthfully faithful and loyal to you.

I actually wrote a poem on my definition of love and here is some of what I said............Love is hurt, pain, suffering, willingness, regrets, desires, emotions, power, indurance, struggles, giving, scarifying, believing, accepting & faith.
