Christopher learns about a terrible crime that has been committed by John and Bob. He has known both of these men for years and cares for them equally. Why, then, does he only report John to the authorities and not Bob?

Bob and John are his children. However, Bob is a young child so Christopher would be arrested for Bob's crime, but John is an adult and would be arrested.

because there is only one way to spell bob but 2 or 3 ways to spell john
