it makes sense, whats on that webpage. its so true, its almost scary. and being that i think about that kind of stuff, am i going to hell? dunno.

by the way you wrote the title, i am guessing you are not catholic, and i will admit that page does have some truth to it. i am going to check back on this question just to see the results.

thank you for posting this question.

Wouldn't it be easier if there was at least one doctrine of the Church that could be proven unscriptural? But, there is not one!

The misconstrued interpretations on that page are so numerous, that is sufficient to say that the author of the text on the page has studied Scripture and the Church's ACTUAL teachings only in passing.

I usually reference standards from vatican.va/archive. But in this case, I would also recommend a few audio media sets from Scott Hahn or Tim Staples. If those are too lengthy and one would like to get a "quick answer" version to many of the questions that page raises, check out the following free mp3 download. It's called "two minute apologetics" and gives brief answers to many questions people have about Catholic doctrine:

I am not going to get angry, but do you really agree with the website you posted?

Why does everyone feel the need to bash Catholics?

And if you are a Catholic basher, you could find better material than the info on that website...it is aweful.

Perhaps you can tell us your intent in bringing this topic here, then specifically calling out Catholics? Was your intent to inflame, or to educate? How do YOU feel about it? Is this something you believe, or are you strictly looking for reaction?

As a Catholic, I found it foolish and ignorant, and wonder about the "plank in the eye" of the person who put that together.

But truly, I'm more interested in YOUR intentions.

Rubbish.
Anti-Catholic polemic will get you nowhere.
This website "about Catholic people" is no more about Catholic people than a website about neo-Nazis is about Germans or one about Black Muslims is about blacks.
The problem here is a misunderstanding. Catholics DO NOT worship Mary. Catholics need not believe anything about Mary to be good Catholics and solid Christians. People who worship anything but the triune God are not Catholics and not Chrisitans. Please stop posting this rubbish.

I am not Catholic and I am not angry. You are asking people to be mature, but at the same token what you are doing is very immature. You are trying to stir up anger by dangling this controviserial website infront of people who will no doubt have very strong views. Look who is being immature....look in the mirror.

I think the website was made by people who are uneducated on the Catholic faith. I am also saddened by their childish insults against the Blessed Virgin Mary, the Pope, and the Church Jesus Christ Himself instituted here on Earth.
