This is our native traditional "all american" foods and snacks that have ingredients or spices that linger in our memory banks and the very moment we see or take a whiff, it is an automatic impulse to have it now, including french fries, cookies, etc.

They are comfort foods. Most people associate them with childhood, I think. It just gives us a good feeling when we eat them.

b/c of their taste, they do not taste bland, we like the sweetness of ice cream and the saltiness and simple bread taste of pizza and the flavor of barbecue, these foods suit our taste buds.
