Unified (Universalists) Unitarians seem to be the most liberal in my opinion.

I like the question, but it doesn't really compute. More or less by definition, religions are "top down" outfits. Someone or some institution is dictating to its members how they should act, what the can and can not do, etc. To be based in democratic ideals, the ruling power of the religion would have to come up from the believers. This is impractical and primarily against the guiding principle of religion in general--to control behavior along a certain set of morals.

Islam

Islam is democratic in spirit. Islam advocates the right to vote and educate yourself and pursue a profession. The Qur'an, on which Islamic law is based, enjoins Muslims to govern themselves by discussion and consensus. In mosques, there is no particular priestly hierarchy. With Islam, each individual is responsible for the condition of her or his own soul. Everyone stands equal before God. Americans, who mostly associate Islamic government with a handful of tyrants, may find this independent spirit surprising, supposing that Muslims are somehow predisposed to passive submission. Nothing could be further from the truth. The dictators reigning today in the Middle East are not the result of Islamic principles. They are more a result of global economics and the aftermath of European colonialism. Meanwhile, like everyone else, average Muslims the world over want a larger say in what goes on in the countries where they live. Those in America may actually succeed in it. In this way, America is closer in spirit to Islam than many Arab countries.

Hedonism, that would be the most democratic and politically correct.

Christianity, Judaism, and Islam are theocratic.
Hinduism is pantheistic.
Buddhism is humanistic.

Buddhism is. It allows you to choose your own path.
Christianity, if you base it, is built on kingdom philosphy, then it would be called a monarchy.

Just for general info, America was to be raised on republic format, not democracy. Since it is democratic in its three tiered basis, it is slowly destroying itself from the inside, just what Jefferson and Lincoln feared.

No basis of morality, no solid foundation. Watch her crumble when high tides hits next.

Buddhism - because of the huge amount of freedom in the religion. All the others have such strict rules, dictatorial guidelines, and an almost authoritarian sense of following orders .

No religion is democratic, that means that all of its members meet and have huge mass votes whenever they want to decide something. This does not make sense...

ISLAM...the majority hate all non-muslims and thus, even though no Islamic country has a democracy....the religious dictators still represent the majority with every act of war and terror they finance and engage in.
