wrong, and you don't except the papers because the last name on the paper was wrong? But you know it's really you they're trying to serve. They just made a mistake on the last name. I never got to see who the papers were from.. What could it be, when some paper server is trying to serve you? Is it a feloney? Or is it felony/

I guess all they have to do is figure out their mistake, correct it and then come back.. I wonder is it somthing that could land me in jail? Or is it something like a law suit? i guess the cop's would have just came and arrested me if it were something really bad?

I had this happen to me with a court summons. It had my first name wrong, and my last name correct. I wasn't that thrilled about being called to testify in court, so I called the attorney and told them that I would not be present because they did not get my name right. Unfortunately, if I had not called them, I would have been off the hook. They sent me a corrected summons a few days later. Me and my big mouth. So the answer is no, if your name is not correct, you don't have to do anything.

They have the problem not you.

They should have got it right. If its not YOUR name its their mistake.

Good luck and I hope it all goes well for you.

Tries...

If your name isn't on the paper, then you can't be charged.
