THAT WOULD BE EXERCISE AND EATING LESS--MAKING BOTH OF THESE THINGS LIFE LONG COMMITMENTS

My ideas? Try to do 200 minutes of cardio a week. Remember fat does not turn into muscle, so you need to lose your fat while putting on muscle. Work hard, but don't over 60 minutes at a time. Do planks and other abs exercises on alternate days.

On training days, do 5-10 minutes of cardio to warm up, then do your weight training. Do 30 to 60 minutes more of cardio, then go home.

The best time to eat is just after your workout within an hour when your metabolism is raging. For your muscles, incorporate some isolated soy protein or whey protein. Whey is more potent but the soy tastes better!

Don't look at your scale as the be all and end all, but get a measuring tape to check your progress, and that will show more tangible results.

Read magazines like Shape, Womens Fitness, Fitness, etc to get tips and to stay motivated.

Good luck and stick at it. This plan has lost me 20 lbs in 12 weeks so far, just go for it!

I've found the Cambridge Diet to be the best way to lose weight. It's been around for over 30 years, is FDA approved, is inexpensive and comes with a money back guarantee. It stresses behavior modification to help you keep the weight off and has a very strong support system via your distributor. I lost 17 lbs in 3 weeks. It's just easy enough to stick with and just hard enough to make you feel you've really accomplished something.

Burn more calories than you eat. Take in about 2000 a day.
Cut your fat intake. Eat three cups of fat free low cal yogurt a day (make sure it has live cultures in it). Do 45-60 min. of aerobic exercise a day (preferably before you eat in the morning). Do 20 min of weight training three times a week.

I lost 40 lbs in two months and have kept it off for two more months doing this. I also took my body fat % from 30% to 14%

Be Blessed

One of the best ways to lose weight is to drink lots of water. 8-12oz a day. Majority of weight that people have is water weight by drinking lots of water you will begin to pee alot and then a a difference in your weight by excreting excess water. Then try eater lots of food with fiber( like salads). Then stick with good old fashion exercise. Running or walking for at least an hour a day. With all of these efforts combine you will have a very noticeable weight loss in pounds and in inches.

Easy - burn more calories than you take in. Each pound lost requires burning 3500 calories. To make up that difference, limit your diet to 2500 calories per day and exercise so your heart rate is elevated for at least 20 minutes per day. You don't have to maintain this diet and exercise regime very long . . . just until you die. That'll be 100 years, tops. Not a very long time in history-of-the-universe terms, is it?

Eat like you're in a remote location without food.

Now, eat like you've been stranded in a remote location without food.

Repeat.
