Plug in a standard telephone into your socket and Plunge for Dial Tone with that phone .
It's a very good chance that your Cordless Phone is faulty .

Go outside your house and find your Telephone Network Interface Device. It should be a small grey box attached to the side of your house probably close to the electric.
Open the customer side of that box. Inside, there will be a small module. Open the cover of that module to expose a test jack.
Plug a regular corded phone into that jack and see if you have dial-tone. If you don't, then the problem is in the phone company's outside plant. If you do have dial tone there, then the problem is inside your house. Could be the phone, wiring, a jack, etc...

You're talking about a wireless phone? Do you have a wired phone to test the line with? It sounds like you have a wireless phone which isn't communicating with the base unit which is actually the part connected to the phone network.

Sounds like you didn't pay your phone bill. Or you have a cordless
phone and the battery is too low to transmit/receive or your
base unit is fried
