I have just below shoulder length hair. I want to grow my hair long. My hair texture is thin and wavy/curly. I want to know every way how you get it to grow long, in the middle of your back. I don't know whether to cut it or not, or what things to do. Please reply!

I have had hair to my knees before .I recently cut it to the middle of my back. The biggest trick is no layering people that layer end up never getting past the middle of the back because the layers have to stop somewhere.Do recontructor packets to keep it healthy at least once a week .stay away from hot oils .Leave your packets in for extra long make sure you use a plastic cap to keep the hair wet. Also get small trims every three months. If you have layers don't trim them just the bottom. the heat from the packets and plastic cap will not only help your hair stay healthy but it keeps the heat in which helps circulate the blood which helps stimulate growth. Also if your coloring you hair wait al long as possible in between coloring and than when you do color only do the regrowth if its a darker color pull it through the last 10 minitutes only. The less damage the better.Theres no point in having long hair if its not healthy .Good luck

GNC has a supplement called "Nourishair" that makes the hair grow faster, you can read what's in it by googling it. Be warned these pills are HUGE and you have to take 2 a day.
Also ProCaps labs sells a "hair skin and nails" formula that does the same thing, supports hair growth and health, and is smaller and easier to swallow.
If you take only Biotin alone, make sure you take at least 2.5 milligrams or 2500 micrograms [the same thing] a day because thats' a good amount to take. I use the Nourshair supplement from GNC now and my hair is growing faster than it did, but it took about 6 to 8 weeks of daily use to see results.

I used to have hair that was a little below my waist. I let it grow for about 2 years (It was just below shoulder length when I started) with only a trim to get rid of the split ends now and again. I would recommend using a conditioner and anti-split ends shampoo so you don't have to trim as often. Have patience. It will take a while, but it's worth it!

minimal processing. if you color. do not color all over, only do a "partial highlight". when hair has been colored, it loses its density, each strand that is colored is thinner and when it reaches a certain length, it breaks or snaps off much easier that hair that is natural. so if you leave the underneath of your hair natural, i promise you will establish healthy length twice as fast. also, no blowdrys and no styling products other than leave in conditioners and or shine serums. throw away your flat iron, this is the worst for your hair if your trying to get healthy length. and only trim about every 4 months. if your not abusing it, you can go that long easily.

i'm in the process of growing out my hair now... i would say go as long as you can without getting a trim, do daily scalp massages, eat a healthy, balanced diet, and take a supplement such as biotin.

that is my only advice.. i am hoping it works for me

good luck!

Take biotin. You can get it at just about any pharmacy or vitamin store. My surgeon had me start taking it after my surgery to prevent hairloss and my hair and nails have been growing like crazy

Choose faster-paced types of yoga such as Ashtanga or perhaps Vinyasa to burn more calories while also finding a good stretch.
