he's a contemporary illusionist who performs some really confounding street tricks but is best known worldwide for performing feats that "test the limits of the human spirit". He's mentioned (in tv specials) that one of the things he loves about it is that his performances become a nexus for all walks of life to congregate and interact when they otherwise never would. Many see his work as part happening or an art because of the mass public response/intrigue/support that he incurs. He often mentions his respect and admiration for Houdini and his beautiful event posters are obvious homages that era. He prepares months-yrs in advance for each event: His next stunt will be suspending from the Brooklyn Bridge by his arms. amazing- I love this guy.very intense
