I read he gets cast as Jews all the time 'cause he looks it. Is there really a way to tell if someone is Jewish or just Mediterranean looking like Greek or Italian?

also maybe it is because his characters have "Jewish" names, and therefore you look at him & say, "oh yes, he looks Jewish" whereas if his name was really Greek sounding you could say "oh, of course, he looks Greek!!"

That's funny, I always thought he was Jewish. I think the stereotypical Jewish look, is similar to what many other Mediterranean people look like (like Italians, Greeks and Arabs). So it's hard for me to tell who's what -- and also, many Jews don't "look Jewish" in the least. Lots of Jews look like they could be German or Irish.
